Congratulations Kent and Mel!
I just realized that my posts keep getting further and further apart...sorry. I guess blogging is just too far down the priority list right now. Kevin's still job hunting, so if anyone knows of any job opportunities PLEASE let us know. The idea that once you graduate college you immediately get a great job is not exactly how it goes. We're still waiting to hear from pharmacy colleges, and they are keeping us waiting. In the meantime, we are super excited for Kevin's little brother Kent and his wife Melanie who just told us they are pregnant! Kent also just interviewed at Kentucky for Dental school and we hope he gets in! Great things are happening for them and no one deserves it more. Congrats to all the rest of our friends who have gotten into PA school, dental school, medical school, and pharmacy school. We're proud of you all and hopefully we'll be joining the ranks soon!

Kassididdle
I went into Kassidy's room the other day to see what she was up to and this is how I found her.She had set up her pillow and books all by herself and was busy reading aloud to herself. It was just too dang cute! Also, here's a picture of Kassidy's first pony tail...you can tell that she still doesn't quite have enough hair to have one, but I tried!
Birthday girl
I'm a little late in posting about my wonderful birthday...it was Wednesday but I haven't had much down time to write lately. Kevin and Kassidy made my day very wonderful and special for me--thanks honey! I had to work on my birthday, so I took treats with me to the daycare so the kids could party with me. We had a great day and Kevin sent flowers to work, delivered by Kurt 'eskeleto style' (you'll only understand that if you know Kurt or are an avid Nacho Libre fan). My big birthday gift was an Ipod touch from my sweet hubby and his parents--which he is still in trouble for spending that much money on me :( I'm really excited to finally join the rest of the world in having an Ipod, even though I don't know how to use it yet. My in laws came down and joined us for dinner at Chili's and we had cake and ice cream afterwards. Kevin is such an artist and he made me a beautiful cake with a precious moments (I love them) teacher on it. The pictures don't do it justice. Thank you for all phone calls and well wishes on my special day!

What a wonderful life!
We had a wonderful Christmas spending time with all our family and driving all over the state of Utah. Regardless to say, we're pretty excited to be back at home and in our beds. Kassidy was such a fun and a sweet girl, giving lots of hugs and thank yous for everything she got. Santa brought a toy kitchen and daddy made her a beautiful toy box. We braved the storm that never happened and drove up to grandma Shelly's house. I had a great girls night out with my fab five at Brick Oven on friday and had a blast catching up with them all. Grandma and Grandpa Russon were next and the Russon family party in Logan was great. We even got to go see Kevin's Grandma Wright in the rest home. I think Kassidy must be very confused with all the grandma's we introduced her to this Christmas (I think there were 7!). We're so blessed to have such wonderful family who spoiled us and allowed us to camp at their homes. We even had a great New Years party at our house with Kevin's brothers, but I didn't take any pictures. Although Christmas is over, we still have one more party to attend this weekend when my cousin Haylee will be coming out to visit. Happy New Year everyone!
Kassidy loved her Elmo baby toy. She recognized it from the eyeballs poking out of the present.

Mama Mia
Short explanation for all the ABBA music on our playlist: I'm in love with Mama Mia which I got for my birthday and I'm now obsessed with the music. Sorry if you don't like it, but that's my mood for now!
