This must be a daddy thing, because Kevin has a picture of his dad doing the same thing to him. This makes me smile! Too bad I'm not strong enough to do this...

Oh my heavens! I thought only my dad did this! :)
Then when we got older (3 or 4 ish) he would lay on his back like he was going to do a bench press. He would have us stick one of our feet in one of his hands and the other foot in his other hand. He would lift us in the air and we would try and balance while he tried to make us fall! We did this for as long as he could last before he got tired and we would beg him to do this with us all the time. He always caught us though before we landed on his face or gave him a good gut check! :)
I love those pictures! How fun. And it is a daddy thing. Kent did it too. What makes a guy think "huh here's a baby less than 20lbs can't really move yet - lets just see if he can balance. Better yet lets just though him in the air." I don't get it!
So for some reason on my phone the text in your blog won't show up...but I have to agree w/Melanie. What is it about a baby that makes a guy think, " wow balancing them dangerously on my hand would be fun!" well I still live the pix & the super cute kids!!
