Changes

I guess pictures are first since I can't get this to switch:
Two peas in a pod.
I can't believe I have 2 kids!

Kassidy and Jenny pretending to be Old Navy manequins :)

Grandma Russon came and met us at a park while she was out for a wedding. We were glad to see her.

I have the most handsome men in my life!

My cute uncle, aka Grandpa Scott, with Korbin

I have been a total slacker and had zero motivation to blog these past 3 weeks. Granted, things have been pretty busy. After a blissful 5 days home with our precious baby boy, we had to go back to UCDavis hospital and spend 5 days in the NICU with Korbin. Unbeknownst to us, he contracted Staph Aureus somehow and got these strange boils on his skin. He was totally fine though, and the only bad part was that it took the doctors 5 whole days to figure out he was fine. They just didn't want to send us home until they were absolutely sure he didn't have anything worse.

So here we are in the real day to day of things. Kevin started his second year of pharmacy school yesterday and I am trying to juggle having 2 kids and doing things on my own. It's been a bit of an adjustment, and I take my hat off to all you who have 2 + children. I'm starting to appreciate my own mother (she has 5 kids) even more if possible. I love my kids and enjoy being a mother more than anything, but it's HARD! I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and I struggled with trying to be a happy, fun, structured mother today. It'll all come together though, practice makes perfect! Here are some pictures of our growing baby boy and our visitors of late.

Kassidy loved having her aunt Jenny to play with :)
My wonderful mother came out to help us during our second hospital stay and spent 11 days with us. She was such a help!

Your little boy is such a handsome guy! Ya know I was in your shoes not too long ago. It is a big adjustment going from one to two kids. I'm not a perfect mom and I don't have any expert advice... but just keep in mind that it will get easier. The first month, for me at least, took alot of work trying to figure out our new routine. But once we got the hang of it and my baby started sleeping well at night, it became SO much fun! Seriously I think having two is more fun than having one. You're such a good mommy! I hope you get better sleep tonight. It's much easier to be super mom when you've had a good night's sleep.

Your little boy is SO CUTE!! Hang in there with the adjustment of two kids! It does get a little easier. I PROMISE! It really is a lot more fun with two, once you get used to it. You are such an increadable person and they are very lucky to have you as a mother.

Glad to hear Korbin is doing well now. He's so cute! I love the bath pictures... infants have the cutest bellies and belly buttons!
I'm with you on the "2 kids seem impossible". I'm still struggling with it. But I think it's getting better... or maybe I'm just getting more delirious.
Cute picture with your kids!

Robyn, I love the photos. Your little (growing) family is just beautiful. And I miss your mom! Someday maybe I'll get around to calling her.
