A little late, but I wanted to post these pictures so I'll remember one day :)
For Father's Day last year I took photos of the kids holding the letters to spell DAD and put them in a 3 picture frame. He loved it so I decided to make it a tradition. I guess my kids were just the right age last year because this year was so much harder! Here are the ones I ended up with, which are the least bad of the bunch!
(All of Kassidy's were great! She's very photogenic and cooperative. Keep reading for the bad ones )
Here comes the bad/hard ones. First we started by just not looking at the camera.....
Then Korbin pulls out a skateboard from his pocket and eats it....
Oh, I'm gonna lie down and then let's start a grass fight!
And the little stinker starts the tackling...
This one was actually kinda cute in a silly way :)
And I got smart and gave up. These pictures make me smile and realize how blessed I am to have these two sweeties in my life. Sorry the pictures weren't more perfect Kevin, but your kids sure are!! Thank you for being such a wonderful father to our children and husband to me. We are very blessed to have you!
Last Thursday our sweet baby girl turned 5....where did those years go?!! I feel like I just barely had my sweet Kassidy and became a mother for the first time. These 5 years have been very wonderful and full of great experiences. We are so proud to have a daughter like Kassidy. She is such a perfect child. She's a great protector for her brother and always very thoughtful of others. Kassidy's also has such a fun outgoing personality and makes friends very easily. I love watching her grow and turn into such a wonderful little girl. Happy birthday sweet girl! Mom and Dad love you SOOOOO much!
Here are some photos from the big day:
We had to wait for dad to get out of school and commute back from San Francisco so we passed the day by inviting some friends to come swim and eat with us at our apartment.
Kassidy, Sara and Lydia showing that Kassidy is 5
Kassidy and her cute friends, the Tabish's and the Rothas'
After Daddy FINALLY got home (traffic was horrible) we ate dinner at Chick-fil-A, Kassidy's favorite and then went home for presents. Yay!
Kassidy with my aunt and uncle, or Grandma Jennette and Grandpa Scott as my kids call them :)
Pretty simple cake this year since we didn't really have a party or a theme. But it was delicious!
I love being the mother to this amazing little person!
Ending the night listening to the "Brave" story on cd with grandma.
The kids just completed their first-ever swimming lessons, and they were a big success! We received a scholarship through the city, so this was a quite a treat for my kids to attend in a really nice facility in town. Korbin and I did a mommy-and-me class, and although I was less than thrilled to squeeze my 6 month pregnant body into a suit, we had a good time. Kassidy loved her preschool class and was the only one to advance on to the next level. Move over Poliwogs, Kassidy is now an Eel! Lol!
Kassidy is going to do another round of lessons, while Korbin and I are done, but we had a blast! Great way to kick off the summer :)
Cute kids on their first day of lessons. So excited!
Korbin trying to adjust to the water temperature.
Kick, kick, kick!
Kassidy was such a good listener! I was really proud of her.
Korbin loved jumping from the side until the time the teacher told us to let them drop their faces in the water a bit. After that experience he would scream, "No face in!" every time it was time to jump. Welp, ruined that one for you buddy :(
Last day of class.
Korbin with our cute teacher Lacey. She gave him a diving ring that he loves!
This Sunday Kevin and I celebrate 7 years of being married. I feel like we've already surpassed most celebrity marriages and we're well on our way to eternity! These past 7 years have been the best of my short life :) I know everyone says that, but it's true. Kevin is my best friend in every way imaginable. We can talk about anything together, we enjoy most of the same activities, and we make some pretty darn adorable offspring if I do say so myself! We've lived in 4 apartments, 2 states, graduated college together, and had 2 (almost 3) children together. Our marriage isn't perfect, but we are perfect for each other. We make each other better people and we enjoy each other's company. I love you Kevin and I'm so grateful you're mine :)
June 2005, on our honeymoon in Disneyland. Don't we look so little?

June 2007-Welcomed our first child Kassidy together
Our little family is currently living in California, as Kevin has been attending pharmacy school here. He just graduated in June and we are on the job hunt! It's exciting and scary all at the same time. We have three children, Kassidy is 6, Korbin is 2, and McKinley is 9 months. We're missing family and friends, but making new ones and we love it! We love life and hope to catch up with friends, old and new, through our blog :)
