Dressing up

We were starting to get really excited about Halloween a couple weeks ago, so I pulled out the costume box. The kids had a great time trying on the old costumes and deciding what they wanted to wear.

My mom gave me this cute frog costume for Kassidy when she was a baby but we never ended up using it. I hoped to use it for Korbin this year, but...
He wasn't really diggin' it.
Kassidy loved trying on her old costumes. She was this poodle when she was 2. The costume is way to small now, but that didn't stop us from having a good time this afternoon.

In the end, Kassidy decided to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz since she has ruby slippers. I finished sewing her dress yesterday. I'll post some pictures soon. And she wants Korbin to be scarecrow. Should be a fun year :)

You are becoming the best seamstress! Your kiddos are getting so big, they are so adorable.

About your "someday" post. It's funny that no matter where we are in life, we always do the "someday". Mine at the moment is SOMEDAY my kids won't have such busy schedules and I will be able to do and finish projects in a timely manner. Almost as fast as I think that, I realize I'm not going to like that SOMEDAY.

I'm sorry about your uncle Bret. Your family has been in our prayers. Love you!

I meant to comment on your someday post...and I totally agree. Someday we will be done with school and have normal lives...but then I am sure we will start saying someday our kids will be in school and we will have free time then it will change to someday when are kids are grown....I dont think somedays ever end....in a way I think it is good because then we get to away think of the future instead of the living in the past.
